Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Childcare Trainer and Assessor to join our team. As a Childcare Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners in Residential Childcare. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5 and hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA. Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET) is also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training and assessment to learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.


What We Offer:
The salary for this position is £35,500 per annum, which is based on the national average salary for similar roles in the Bedfordshire area. In addition to the basic salary, you will also receive an excellent bonus scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including an excellent benefits package, bonus, pension, expenses, and much more.

About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position that requires flexibility with travel. You will be based at home but will need to travel to cover areas in Bedfordshire and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will have a clean UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
