We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Assistant to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, dependent children, and staff.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced retail environment, with experience in managing stock control systems, operating computer-based software, and maintaining accurate sales and purchase records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage stock levels to ensure adequate inventory at all times
- Operate and participate in the ordering process to meet customer demands
- Use computer-based software to service resident shop requirements and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
- Experience of working in a high-pressured operation
