About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and positive individual to join our team as a Library Assistant in the Stroud cluster of libraries. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations, development, and organisation of Stroud and Nailsworth libraries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to library users, ensuring they have access to all services and resources.
  • Deliver activities and events, such as Baby Bounce and Rhyme, and Sensory Story times, to engage with our community.
  • Master library ICT systems and offer basic advice on computer and tablet use to those who require it.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a passion for working with children. You should have a good understanding of the services libraries offer and the role they play in the community.
