About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our Consult business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Responsible Business activities and delivering purpose-led outcomes on projects across multiple environmental sustainability KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver measurable outcomes on projects, including carbon, water, circularity, materials sourcing, transport, and BREEAM.
  • Ensure all targets (legal, client, and Mace) are being delivered.
  • Ensure projects contribute to the 2026 Mace business plan KPIs and targets.
  • Engage with clients and consultants to share knowledge, provide informative insights, project updates, and case studies.
  • Manage data quality and identify insights that can be acted upon.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree and membership of an environmental or sustainability body.
  • Proven track record of sustainability work.
  • Ability to translate technical topics into layperson language and articulate the value of sustainability.
  • UK driving licence and car, with willingness to travel across Norfolk to project locations.
