Job Title: School Premises Officer

We are seeking a reliable and skilled School Premises Officer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the premises manager and team with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities
  • Prepare areas within the school for events (furniture set up etc)
  • Be part of the premises team to ensure the school site is opened and closed at the designated time
  • Support the supervision of the site and security of the buildings
  • Liaise with the premises manager, cleaning staff and external contractors as required
Requirements:
  • Physical fitness
  • Experience working in building maintenance
  • Previous experience in schools, colleges or educational settings is preferred but not essential
  • Dedicated and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to have one processed
