Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of the MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology programme, ensuring it meets the highest academic standards and aligns with the university's strategic objectives.

  1. Develop and implement curriculum changes, working closely with the course director and psychology leads to ensure the programme remains relevant and effective.
  2. Contribute to the design and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, collaborating with course directors and section directors to achieve academic excellence.
  3. Attend regular meetings with the course team, research groups, and faculty to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  4. Oversee the administration, assessment, and evaluation of courses, adhering to university guidelines and deadlines.
  5. Participate in open days and recruitment events, promoting the university and its programmes to prospective students.
  6. Engage in research, publications, and knowledge exchange activities, contributing to the university's reputation and academic excellence.
  7. Take on additional responsibilities as designated by the subject director and course directors, supporting the smooth operation of the psychology suite and school.
  8. Participate in university-wide and school induction courses, attending events related to further professional development.
