Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Laundry Valet to join our Rooms Department at Raffles London at The OWO. As a Laundry Valet, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing colleague uniforms to the highest standards, providing a distinctive and high-quality service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and repair staff uniforms as needed, ensuring all garments are clean and in good condition.
- Assist with the distribution and tracking of staff uniforms, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Work closely with the laundry team to ensure the smooth operation of the laundry service.
- Act as an ambassador for Raffles, providing exceptional service to guests and colleagues alike.
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding uniform with the laundry manager or executive housekeeper.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in proper working order, reporting any malfunctions or defects to the laundry manager or executive housekeeper.
- Keep the uniform area clean and tidy, maintaining a high level of organization and cleanliness.
- Monitor the quality of returned guest garments, uniform, and chef wear from outside contractors.
- Be flexible and adaptable, pressing guest garments and staff uniforms as directed by the laundry manager or executive housekeeper.
- Follow the Lost Property procedure.
