About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Rapid Response team at St Helena Hospice. As a Rapid Response Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality palliative care to patients in their own homes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with palliative needs
- Work collaboratively with the hospice team to provide comprehensive care
- Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Manage medication and administer care in accordance with St Helena policy and NMC regulations
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with experience in palliative care
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
