Clinical Strategy and Direction- Provide expert medical advice and guidance to the Trust Board on clinical standards, treatment regimes, and statutory duties.

- Support and advise clinical staff on medical issues and provide guidance on the resolution of complex medical questions.
- Ensure that our Trust's medical advice and direction reflects the latest guidance from national bodies, such as NICE and JRCALC.
- Provide strong medical leadership at all levels, including strategic, tactical, and operational, to ensure that our Trust delivers high-quality patient care.
- Lead and develop our medical team, providing clinical direction and supervision to ensure that our medics are equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Contribute to the development of our corporate strategy, policy, and decision-making activity, ensuring that our Trust remains focused on delivering excellent patient outcomes.
- Assume joint responsibility with other directors for corporate performance and the achievement of our Trust's strategic objectives.

- Registered medical practitioner with a minimum of seven years experience

- Evidence of significant experience in a senior clinical role in either a hospital or primary care environment, with an interest in developing care outside of hospitals
