Maternity Cover: Design Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill our maternity cover position as a Design Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of the VELUX Group.

The successful candidate will work closely with homeowners, architects, and installers to provide tailored design advice and product recommendations. They will also collaborate with internal colleagues to bring design solutions to life through our Installation Services.

A key aspect of this role is building trust and maintaining open communication with customers. The successful candidate will need to actively listen to homeowners and architects to understand their project goals, including aesthetic and visual preferences, functional requirements and construction constraints, and budgetary considerations and project timelines.

Salary: £38,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role and the value we place on our employees' contributions. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we also offer hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on daylight design and VELUX product solutions to homeowners and architects.
  • Recommend design solutions (via renders and design proposals) tailored to project requirements, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and practicality.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to bring design solutions to life through our Installation Services.
