Psychological Services Professional Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Psychological Services Professional to join our team at Compass Associates. As a member of our residential care team, you will provide psychological assessment, intervention, and support services to children and young people with complex needs.

In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, assistant psychologists, and trainee psychologists, to deliver high-quality services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment and intervention services to children and young people in residential care settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise and consult with other team members
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to mental health services

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, Educational, or Forensic)
  • Experience working in children's settings, such as education, residential care, or CAMHS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly and manage own diary
