We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our Glenrothes team as a Full Time Night Shift Support Practitioner. This role involves working waken night shifts, specifically from 8pm to 7am or 9pm to 8am, providing full support to individuals with complex needs such as epilepsy, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.
About the Role
This is a physically demanding role that requires assisting individuals with moving and handling, personal care, eating and drinking, and taking medication. You will be responsible for cooking, cleaning, ironing, and laundry duties during the night. As a Support Practitioner, you will be caring for people's well-being and ensuring their comfort throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing emotional and practical support to service users with complex needs
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by performing household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.
