About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to operate a transit van, demonstrating expertise in driving large vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and delivery of our canine clients, ensuring their safe and comfortable transport to and from their residences as per their preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver canine clients to their residences, ensuring their safe and comfortable transport.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation for each van run, including secure handling of clients' keys and belongings.
  • Engage with clients at their doorsteps, effectively communicating any pertinent information to the office team.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vans in accordance with our guidelines and health and safety regulations.
  • Drive responsibly, considering the precious nature of the cargo being transported.
  • Load and unload assigned dogs, conducting thorough head-to-tail checks, and deliver their lunch boxes or other belongings.
  • Ensure reliability and consistency in service, as our clients depend on regular and reliable transport.

Working Hours

This position could involve a split shift schedule, ideally suited for individuals residing in Southend-on-Sea. The working hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 9:00/9:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 5:00/5:30 PM

We are open to dividing the job responsibilities among multiple staff members, offering a high degree of flexibility in this role.
