We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible individual to join our team at Paws Indoors Southend as a Dog Daycare Pickup Driver. This role is crucial to the success of our business, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about working with dogs and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Transit Van Safely: Our ideal candidate will have expertise in driving large vehicles and will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our canine clients.
  • Collect and Deliver Dogs: You will be responsible for collecting dogs from their residences and delivering them to their destinations, ensuring their safe and comfortable transport at all times.
  • Accurate Documentation: Accurate completion of all required documentation for each van run is essential, as well as the secure handling of clients' keys and belongings.
  • Client Communication: You will engage with clients at their doorsteps, effectively communicating any pertinent information to the office team.
  • Van Maintenance: Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vans in accordance with our guidelines and health and safety regulations is imperative.
  • Responsible Driving: It is crucial to always drive responsibly, considering the precious nature of the cargo being transported.
  • Loading and Unloading: You will be responsible for the loading and unloading of assigned dogs, conducting thorough head-to-tail checks, and delivering their lunch boxes or other belongings.
  • Reliability: Reliability is paramount, as our clients depend on consistent and regular service.

Working Hours:

This position could involve a split shift schedule, ideally suited for individuals residing in the local area. The working hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 9:00/9:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 5:00/5:30 PM

We are open to dividing the job responsibilities among multiple staff members, offering a high degree of flexibility in this role.
