Job Overview

Audit & Risk Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Risk Governance Expert to join their esteemed client, a leading media and broadcasting household name. This 12 month fixed term contract will provide an exceptional opportunity for the selected candidate to make a significant impact in shaping the company's risk management approach.

The successful applicant will be responsible for collaborating with functional leaders across the business to identify and document key risks and priorities. With a strong focus on cost reduction, this role requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, who can effectively maintain RAID logs, produce insightful risk reports, and communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with Functional Leaders: Engage with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and document key risks and priorities.
  • RAID Log Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments, issues, and actions.
  • Risk Reporting: Develop and deliver regular risk reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Risk Profile Development: Assist businesses leaders in understanding their risk profile and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.

Requirements:

  • Strong Risk Management Background: Proven experience in risk management, internal audit, or project management.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex risk concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and develop informed recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
