Job Summary
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Outreach Practitioner to join our team at Via Westminster Drug Project. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals who are at risk of homelessness and have experienced housing challenges, substance misuse, and mental health difficulties.
As an Outreach Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users, working in partnership with our clinical team, counsellors, and other professionals to deliver a recovery-based approach that values the strengths and choices of each individual.
Key responsibilities will include managing a caseload of service users, providing interventions at varying stages of their recovery, and developing and delivering a range of groups and activities. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to drive service development and improve outcomes for our service users.
The Service
Our Adult Drug and Alcohol Services across Gloucestershire are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our service users. As an Outreach Practitioner, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our service users.
Location
This is a county-wide role, with your base predominantly being the P3 Offices at Morroway House in Gloucester. You will also have the opportunity to work with our team across various locations as required.
