Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Wellington Hospital in London. As a critical care and antimicrobial stewardship lead pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services across two intensive care units.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to take on a leadership role in our pharmacy team. You will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of microbiology ward rounds and supporting the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to critical care patients
  • Lead and coordinate microbiology ward rounds
  • Support the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • GPhC registration
  • Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Extensive relevant pharmacy experience, including providing clinical pharmacy services to critical care patients at an advanced level
  • Experience in ICU
  • An interest in antimicrobial stewardship with desirable experience
  • Strong initiative and commitment, with a 'can do' attitude to work
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
