About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to take on a leadership role in our pharmacy team. You will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of microbiology ward rounds and supporting the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to critical care patients
- Lead and coordinate microbiology ward rounds
- Support the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- GPhC registration
- Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
- Extensive relevant pharmacy experience, including providing clinical pharmacy services to critical care patients at an advanced level
- Experience in ICU
- An interest in antimicrobial stewardship with desirable experience
- Strong initiative and commitment, with a 'can do' attitude to work
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
