Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to lead our Critical Care and Antimicrobial Stewardship services at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our critical care patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to critical care patients, including medication management and antimicrobial stewardship.
  • Lead and develop our antimicrobial stewardship program, working closely with our microbiology team to optimize antibiotic use.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare-associated infections.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and policies to ensure best practice in critical care pharmacy.
  • Provide education and training to our pharmacy team on antimicrobial stewardship and critical care pharmacy practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in critical care pharmacy, including providing clinical pharmacy services to critical care patients.
  • Experience in antimicrobial stewardship, including developing and implementing antimicrobial stewardship programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
