We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in East and Central Lancashire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for screening and prioritizing referrals, providing advice and signposting to our community assets and services.
You will also be part of our urgent response service, undertaking home visits and assessments to identify equipment and adaptations within the home to reduce risks and increase independence for people in need of support.
This is a new role, requiring the skills and attributes to contribute to the development of the team and provide training to others to foster innovative practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and prioritizing referrals
- Providing advice and signposting to community assets and services
- Undertaking home visits and assessments
- Identifying equipment and adaptations to reduce risks and increase independence
Requirements:
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
