Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at E3 Recruitment. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approve finished products and components by confirming specifications are met through visual inspection and measurement tests.
  • Ensure that measuring equipment and instruments are correctly calibrated and consistently ready for use.
  • Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of externally manufactured components and parts.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC, HND, etc.).
  • Experience working in a similar position, ideally within a Machine Shop environment.
  • The ability to read, interpret, and work directly from engineering drawings.
  • The ability to effectively use various types of measuring instruments and equipment, including micrometres, verniers, CMM (Mitutoyo), and Faro Arm.
