Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Benefits Assistant to join our team on a 6-month part-time contract. This role will involve supporting the day-to-day operations of payroll and benefits administration, as well as contributing to ongoing projects in a post-merger environment.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading investment bank based in the City. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of payroll for both UK and US employees, while assisting with the implementation of a new payroll system, benefits harmonisation, and other projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day payroll and benefits administration tasks
- Contribute to ongoing projects, including payroll system implementation and benefits harmonisation
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits information
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration (UK experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Familiarity with payroll systems and HR platforms (system migration experience a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills and high numeracy
- Good understanding of payroll regulations and personal tax
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
What We Offer
A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
