Procurement Project Manager

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team in Cheadle, UK. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will play a critical role in representing Procurement as a Procurement Project Manager, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure acquisition or sourcing strategies for campaigns, bids, or products are aligned to the needs of the business.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain architecture to deliver competitive supply chain solutions
- Work closely with bid and product development teams to ascertain work package needs, competitiveness objectives, and target costs
- Manage all Procurement aspects to ensure work packages are executed in accordance with technical, program, cost, and performance requirements
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance
