Data Governance & Quality Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance & Quality Analyst to join our Digital Transformation Team on a fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing our data governance vision and strategy, ensuring the quality of our data, and promoting data governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of customer data from various sources, becoming a subject matter expert in this domain.
  • Guarantee the quality of data gathered, stored, and used by the organization.
  • Document and enforce rules around data collection, storage, and use.
  • Lead the execution of policies and standards established by the data governance program.
  • Ensure access to the right data by the right users at the right time, based on data sensitivity.
  • Help create and implement processes and procedures for data collection, storage, use, and security.
  • Use subject matter expertise to help stakeholders identify ways to use data to drive business objectives and value.
  • Work closely with the Data Quality Manager and other stakeholders to provide input and develop data policies.
  • Promote and champion data governance across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Breadth of practical experience in industry data governance models and data strategy frameworks.
  • Strong technical ability to verify engineering work and engage in technical discussions with the engineering team.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other query languages.
  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, agile methodologies, and working in a cross-functional squad.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data management and data governance, covering strategic and operational implementations.
  • 3 years of experience working in big data environments and developing data practices.
  • Experience in defining and implementing data practice KPIs.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
