Job Title: Charity Shop Electrical Tester

Sue Ryder is seeking a dedicated individual to assist with PAT testing electrical items in our Kidlington shop. This volunteer role offers the opportunity to contribute to fundraising efforts while gaining valuable skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake relevant training and PAT test electrical appliances.
  • Organise and sort donations for sale, ensuring all items are safe and functional.
  • Price and stock items for sale, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.
  • Assist with general shop duties, including customer service and visual merchandising.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to commit to regular shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sale systems.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
