The Rowan Organisation is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Northwich plant.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fault diagnosis and repair of plant and site service equipment, ensuring timely and efficient resolution to minimize downtime.
  2. Implementation of planned maintenance schedules and performing maintenance requests in accordance with statutory checks and GMP requirements.
  3. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Health and Safety, Quality, Engineering, Production, and Management teams, to ensure effective communication and seamless operations.
  4. Participation in Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  5. Management of stores and Engineering Technical documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  6. Providing coaching and guidance to relevant employees on shared maintenance responsibilities.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in electrical maintenance and utility equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized Engineer Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, such as ONC/BTEC/HNC. Relevant skills and experience include:

  • Competence in site service/utility equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS systems.
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, steam systems, hydraulic systems, PLCs (Siemens S7, S5, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley), HMIs, robotics, and inverters.
  • Knowledge of FMCG experience and Food Industry principles (desired).
  • Ability to work within a team and take initiative, building effective relationships with internal customers.
