About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hair Stylist to join our team at Lush HairLab in Brighton. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional salon experiences to our clients, tailoring your services to meet their unique hair and scalp needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and provide Lush HairLab services, including consultation, product choices, hair washing, cutting, and styling.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their hair identity and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Educate clients on how to achieve their desired style at home.
  • Contribute to a supportive working environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain high standards of personal and workspace presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Assist with retail sales and provide 5-star consultations with clients and customers.
  • Support shops and attend events to promote new hair care products or service launches.
  • Utilize specialist skills and knowledge to support the Lush PR team.
Requirements
  • Minimum SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in running a column or equivalent.
  • Established client base in Brighton is beneficial but not essential.
  • Up-to-date skills and techniques in all areas of hair cutting and styling.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including careful communication and consultations.
  • Organized and punctual approach to salon life.
  • Professional and client-focused attitude.
