\We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Peer Support Worker, responsible for providing best practice peer support interventions and care for adults with a range of eating disorder difficulties.
\Job Summary
\This role involves supporting individuals with eating disorders across outpatients, day services, and the Enhanced Treatment Team via individual and group peer support interventions, under the clinical and professional supervision of a qualified psychologist, psychotherapist, or CBT therapist and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
\As part of this role, you will also provide regular supervision to Peer Support workers, contribute to the development and coordination of Peer Support services across the service, and work in partnership with key clinicians and stakeholders to develop project plans.
\Required Skills and Qualifications
\Educated to GCSE or equivalent level, with evidence of competency specifically in English and Maths.
\Lived Experience Training/Peer Worker Training or willingness to complete training.
\Experience of using mental health services, such as a community mental health team/promoting recovery team/home treatment team/inpatient stay/emergency department, etc.
\Willingness to positively share your own life experiences with service users and carers and colleagues.
\Experience of delivering peer support services.
\An interest in developing a career in mental health care.
\Experience of facilitating supervision.
\Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Values of Peer Support.
\Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing reports and completing audits.
\Well-developed IT skills, including entry and analysis of research data.

\This role offers a competitive salary of £35,964-£43,780 per annum, inclusive of benefits.
