Job Description:

The role will involve undertaking a wide range of maintenance works in tenanted properties and communal areas, including decorating, joinery, and general repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care and maintenance of tools, plant, materials, and additional company property
  • Health and safety of self and others in the workplace, adhering to company policy
  • Delivery of works allocated to quality required within set timescales
  • Compliance with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team
  • Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions, and directives
  • Delivery of fabric repairs in both occupied and void properties
  • Undertaking out-of-hours callout duties as per rota requirements
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar trade and maintenance role
  • City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in joinery or a similar discipline, or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade
  • A current full UK driving license
  • Experience in joinery and tiling, along with basic plumbing and plastering (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to follow security and safety processes
  • Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
  • Good time management and IT skills
  • A good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements, and risk assessments
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday between 7am-5pm. You will be based in Lowdham, NG14.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £15,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience, offering a weekly pay rate of £290 - £580 per week.
