Yard Maintenance Controller

We are seeking a skilled Yard Maintenance Controller to oversee the loading and unloading of our fleet of HGV vehicles. This role requires a forklift truck licence and involves daily inspections, container handling, and reporting on container movements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections of FLT's and containers
  • Clean and prepare containers for customer delivery
  • Load and off-load container units
  • Perform daily checks and report on container movements
  • Deliver small containers to customers
  • Travel to customer sites to inspect containers for CSC
  • Perform minor repairs on units as required
Requirements:
  • Full driving licence holder
  • Forklift truck licence holder
  • Ability to handle and maintain containers
  • Experience working in a busy outdoor environment
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with team members and external parties
Work Hours:
  • 40 hours per week, permanent contract
  • 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend working)
Benefits:
