Year 6 Class Teacher (Part-Time) Opportunity

Location: Walthamstow, Waltham Forest

Job Type: Part-time, 3 days per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 class teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Year 6 teacher, you will play a pivotal role in helping pupils achieve their full potential, especially in the run-up to their SATs. You will deliver engaging lessons, ensuring that children of all abilities are challenged and supported.

You will work closely with a friendly and experienced Key Stage 2 team to plan and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive school community where you can make a real difference to pupils as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to Year 6 pupils
  • Work closely with the Key Stage 2 team to plan and assess lessons
  • Support pupils in achieving their full potential, especially in the run-up to SATs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Year 6 teaching
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
