Support Worker for Learning Disabilities

We are recruiting a Support Worker to join our team in Biggleswade, providing care and support to learning disabled adults. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and be able to work with individuals to develop their skills and achieve their goals.
The successful applicant will provide high-quality support to enable individuals to live fulfilling lives, making choices about their daily activities, managing their finances, and accessing community resources. They will also work closely with colleagues to ensure that all individuals receive the best possible care and support.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with everyday tasks such as taking medication, cooking meals, and personal care. You will also work with them to build their confidence, independence, and life skills. This may involve accompanying them on outings, teaching them new skills, or simply being there to listen and offer support.
