We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN teacher to join our client's team. As an EYFS SEND educator, you will work with a small class of children with Autism, providing individualized instruction and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach and inspire a small class of children with Autism using creative and engaging teaching strategies.
  • To plan and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • To foster growth by creating a nurturing learning environment that promotes social interaction and personal development.
  • To leverage creativity by incorporating Music, Drama, and the Arts into your teaching to captivate and motivate learners.
  • To build independence by developing strategies to enhance the children's independence and overall wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • A holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND, particularly Autism.
  • Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies.
  • A creative and dynamic approach to teaching, inspiring a love for learning.
  • The ability to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment while effectively managing behaviour.
  • A confident communicator, able to collaborate with parents, staff, and external agencies.
