About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Operations Specialist to join our client's team in the UK. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for enhancing treasury operations and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month-End Treasury Accounting: Prepare and post FX hedging transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Operations: Manage inter-company journals, bank account reconciliations, and treasury operational journals to maintain financial integrity.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies for FX risk management to mitigate potential losses.
  • Banking Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with transactional banking contacts to optimize banking services.
  • System Administration: Oversee transaction banking systems, interest rates, and fees to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of treasury experience in a corporate environment or a strong financial accounting background with an interest in treasury.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Knowledge of banking systems and transactional banking products to drive business growth.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems to streamline operations.
  • Understanding of and experience in hedging, bank account management, and international funds flows to mitigate risk.
  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze complex financial data.
