Facilities and Events Coordinator

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team at Smart 1 Recruitment Limited in Harwell, Oxfordshire.
As an integral member of our Conference Centre operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events from start to finish, ensuring that every detail meets the highest standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Plan and execute events, conferences, and meetings, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and audiovisual requirements.
- Collaborate with speakers, sponsors, and attendees to ensure smooth event execution and excellent customer service.
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to optimise resource allocation and reduce costs.
- Work closely with the Facilities Management team to maintain the Conference Centre's facilities and equipment.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices to enhance event quality and efficiency.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a conference centre or similar setting.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible approach to adapting to changing business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with expertise in Excel and Word.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire
Estimated Salary: £38,750 - £43,500 per annum, depending on experience.
