GP Training Programme Director Opportunity

NHS England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of GP Training Programme Director. This is a specialist position within the GP School, responsible for Training Support (Professional support) with a focus on improving learner supervision, assessment, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Deputy Head of School to lead the delivery of a wide range of functions aligned to the Health Education England mandate.
  • Focus on whole workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links.
  • Ensure effective educational outcomes, both now and in the future.
  • Collaborate with local systems and providers to improve the health of their people and patients and reduce health inequalities.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience in medical education and training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital technology and innovation.
