About the Role

Cook Manager - A Key Position in Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cook Manager to join our team at Sodexo. As a Cook Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest quality of service and food, and managing the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Kitchen Team: Develop, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and food quality.
  • Food and Beverage Operations: Control the complete catering operation, including labour, food, and stock expenses, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure uniformity in food and service standards, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Team Supervision: Have previous staff supervision experience or line management experience, and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Certifications and Experience: Hold basic food handling skills certification, such as NVQ Level 2 and Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, and have a minimum of 1 year's experience in hands-on cooking, training on Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Compensation: £14.50 per hour, paid over 52 weeks.
  • Term Time Only: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 2.00pm, with 30 hours per week.
