Job Summary

Connect2Kent is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our Safeguarding teams in Kent, focusing on exceptional safeguarding services.

Main Duties:
  • Conduct detailed investigations and assessments, working closely with specialist professionals to ensure comprehensive support for vulnerable individuals.
  • Determine the best course of action and outcome to safeguard individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Apply relevant laws and policies during safeguarding enquiries and assessments, prioritizing person-centered approaches.
  • Act as the designated Inquiry Officer for specific safeguarding concerns, upholding policies and procedures established by the Directorate.
  • Achieve timely resolution and closure of safeguarding enquiries, adhering to agreed timescales and performance frameworks.
  • Identify and address quality of care issues, working with the Quality Improvement team to protect and promote individual welfare.
  • Refer relevant matters to external agencies and internal teams, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need experience as an Inquiry Officer, knowledge of S42 investigations, and a deep understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this role is between £35,000 and £45,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
