Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Service Engineer to join our team at Compass Point Recruitment Ltd. As a Laboratory Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our client's in-house manufactured flow chemistry equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and commission flow chemistry equipment in laboratories and factories.
  2. Perform maintenance and upgrade services on-site.
  3. Discuss applications and gather information from customers' experiences.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction by advising on preventative maintenance and repair.
  5. Provide technical support to customers by phone and email.
  6. Creation of technical bulletins and guides to help customers.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a laboratory service or installation role.
  2. NVQ Level 3 or Higher Diploma/Degree in engineering or chemical engineering.
  3. Ability to work with minimal supervision after training.
  4. Confident with Windows, Excel, Word.

Desirable:

  1. Experience within a scientific industry and working in a laboratory environment.
  2. Electro-Mechanical experience.
  3. Experience in working overseas.
