About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Assistant to join our team at Kirklees Council. As a Support Assistant, you will work closely with a child with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, providing individualized support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the child in our highly regarded provision room, working alongside experienced members of staff.
  • Assist the child in the classroom, providing additional support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with the child, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
