Job Title: Full-Time Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to provide individualised care and support to young residents. As a Residential Support Worker, you will serve as a role model and advocate for the young people, working proactively within a professional care team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised care and support to young residents.
  • Serve as a role model and advocate for the young people.
  • Work proactively within a professional care team.

Requirements:
  • Empathy and a passion for helping young people.
  • Ability to build positive relationships.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.
  • Ability to participate in physical activities.
  • Must be over the age of 21.
  • Prior knowledge of child protection issues and understanding of the development needs of children and young people is desirable but not essential.

Shift Patterns:
  • 7:30 - 16:30 and 13:00 - 22:00 with alternate weekends off.
  • Willingness to do overnight stays (sleep-ins on a rota basis).
