Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Process Specialist to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

About the Role:

  • Manage the Accounts Payable process, including processing invoices and credit notes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Foundation Level AAT Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • NVQ3 in Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and understanding of finance processes, including accounts payable.
  • Experience and understanding of NHS VAT rules.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office software.
