Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at Practice Plus Group. As a Lead Healthcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary care to patients within GP clinics, clinically assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, similar to that in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care to patients within GP clinics, clinically assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, similar to that in the community.
  • Provide clinical oversight of the patients on the Care & Separation Unit (CSU).
  • Provide a highly specialist resource of knowledge and skills to the healthcare team in the prison.

Requirements:

  • Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
  • Ability to line manage clinicians and support with clinical supervision.
