About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) department, you will play a vital role in partnering with global suppliers and ensuring the delivery of high-value sub-systems.

As a Procurement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to lead the preparation, negotiation, and implementation of subcontracts across the entire lifecycle of missiles and missile systems. You will work closely with internal customers to provide commercial guidance and manage risk and opportunity to safeguard our interests.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and executing subcontracts with existing partners or through tendering activities
  • Oversight of subcontract amendments to ensure compliance with latest contracting standards and legislation
  • Performance management to ensure suppliers deliver in line with subcontract obligations
  • Nurturing strong supplier relationships within the UK, Europe, and globally
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial and business risks related to suppliers
  • Obtaining quotations and critical intelligence from suppliers to inform new business opportunities

The ideal candidate will possess experience in procurement subcontract management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide continuous support to senior internal and external customers.
