Job Description:

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading employees, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, and maintaining the highest possible standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead employees using a performance management and development process, ensuring the effective supervision, training, and welfare of your team.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, and systems, and maintain the quality of service within the team at the highest possible standards.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop, maintain, and regularly review team strategy to ensure KPIs, work standards, and expectations are met in line with company objectives.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with Production Planning and the Warehouse regarding items required for distribution, and ensure cross-team communication to raise issues, improve processes, and obtain or offer support.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare distribution lists, output preferred despatch methods, and produce daily/weekly/monthly reports for management on progress against specific objectives/KPIs.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Work with HR to recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard new employees.
Requirements:
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role, with a track record of leading teams and achieving results.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and a self-starter who can use initiative to reach goals and solve problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with a can-do attitude and a proactive mindset.
