Vehicle Integration Team Leader

Permanent Futures is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Automotive sector team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Rotherham, working a day shift Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Repower and Special projects and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the department. This includes ensuring efficient and timely delivery of systems to Client delivery dates, as well as maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present at weekly planning meetings to discuss departmental targets and progress.
  • Manage daily documentation and liaison with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead the Vehicle Integration team to achieve high levels of quality, maintain line-side/Kanban stock supplies, and work with planning and stores to ensure vehicle kitting is completed on time.
  • Train, mentor, and assist team members to achieve high-quality working practices.
  • Undertake tasks as directed by the Management Team to meet business needs.
Desired Skills and Experience
  1. Experience of supervising and motivating a team in an Automotive production and Testing environment.
  2. Professional background in Mechanical / vehicle builds would be ideal.
  3. Quality-focused with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Ability to work additional hours as required to meet programme targets and maintain a flexible approach to working hours.
  5. Good level of IT literacy (Sage, MS Excel etc.)
