Job Overview

This is a 12-month fixed-term role providing administrative support to the Ophthalmology Team.

Main Duties

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high-quality clerical and administrative support service, ensuring national and local targets are met, and adhering to hospital SOPs and processes.

They will validate and accurately record data on the Hospitals Medway system, working under the direction of the Deputy Service Manager for Ophthalmology.

Person Specification

Education and Qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent Level 2 Literacy and Level 2 Numeracy

Desirable Criteria

  • Business Administration Level 2 qualification
  • Microsoft Office IT qualification

Experience and Knowledge

  • Good working knowledge of IT Microsoft Packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant programmes
