Job Title: Agency Chemotherapy Nurse

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality cancer care to patients in their homes. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for administering treatments, conducting blood tests, and providing line care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit patients in their homes to administer treatments such as IV and oral chemotherapy.
  • Conduct blood tests and toxicity assessments.
  • Perform pump disconnections and provide line care.
  • Administer IM/SC injections.
  • Work 30-37.5 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days.

Requirements:

  • An active NMC Pin and be a Registered RGN.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy.
  • Skills in cannulation and venepuncture.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification.

What We Offer:

  • An hourly rate of £42-£48, depending on experience.
  • Mileage expenses covered.
  • A work schedule of Monday to Friday, approximately 8 hours per day.
  • No requirement to work on bank holidays.
