Welcome to GOLDSTAR CHEFS, the UK's leading recruitment hub for international hospitality professionals. As a prestigious Fine Dining Indian Restaurant in Glasgow serving people since 1982, we offer an attractive jobs market for International Chefs and Hospitality Managers.

The position is being offered by one of Glasgow's leading Indian restaurants and a destination of choice for Indian food lovers. We aim to provide traditional dishes while preserving classic Indian recipes and enhancing the offering with signature dishes to reflect modern India's changing food trends.

We are seeking a creative and passionate Chef with outstanding skills. The salary package includes circa £32,000 (+ share of service charge + targeted bonus).

Working hours / days: 48 hours / 5 days

Requirements:

  1. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  2. Experience in preparing authentic high-quality South Asian dishes & specialties
  3. Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  4. Industrial training in a world-renowned culinary/hospitality institute like Taj, Oberoi, ITC or similar
  5. Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 5 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
  6. Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  7. Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
