Senior Fellow in Paediatric Intensive Care Opportunity

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Paediatric Intensive Care team as a Senior Fellow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in either paediatrics, anaesthesia, or ICU, and will be expected to demonstrate their competence to communicate in spoken and written English. As a Senior Fellow, you will be part of the tier 2 rota for PICU, which includes shifts for the retrieval service. Full retrieval training will be provided for those without paediatric transport experience.

We offer a comprehensive induction and training programme for all staff starting PICU, and a great opportunity for trainees wanting PICU experience before progressing with training or before taking substantive consultant posts. Our case mix includes cardiac, ECMO, neonatal and neurosurgical cases, as well as the full range of general and paediatric sub-speciality work.

As a Senior Fellow, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, and to contribute to the development of the team and the Trust.
