We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and safety.
- Contribute to the development of our emergency medicine services, including the design and implementation of new clinical pathways and protocols.
- Lead and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Provide teaching and training to junior medical staff, including medical students and junior doctors.
- Contribute to the development of our research and education programs, including the design and implementation of new research studies and educational initiatives.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine who has:
Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Emergency Medicine.Experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, including clinical leadership and expertise in this area.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our multidisciplinary team.A strong commitment to teaching and training, with experience in providing educational programs for junior medical staff.A passion for research and education, with experience in designing and implementing new research studies and educational initiatives.
